Travel

The update is a European backpacking trip my friend and I have planned for our graduating year! We are so excited to be sharing an experience as special as this one together! My friend's name is Julia. Jules has been my closest companion since grade 4. It is safe to say we've had a unique friendship since day one, but I promise to dedicate a post to her later on! Anyways the idea was originally Julia's but it really interested me to travel around Europe as well! I grew up in Canada but was born in Turkey (Middle between Europe and Asia). 

Europe always strikes me as a very welcoming, and cultured area of the world. Traveling prevents us from being ignorant to all the types of lifestyles around the world. I think traveling will open my eyes to the real world. Life outside of pretty old Vancouver! I do not want to grow up in a perfect little bubble and then when life really hits me have no clue how to handle it. A couple of years ago if you were to ask me if I thought taking a gap year was logical I would have automatically replied "no." But the more I pondered upon it the more it began to appeal to me! Obviously I have always desired to travel but I used to think that it was better to study first get school out of the way and then go. But a series of events have changed my strict opinion completely! I imagined it like this: I would graduate and choose a university I wanted to study in. I would take a student loan and go. Study my undergrad and maybe decide what I wanted after. Then maybe begin work and then go. 

How the hell am I supposed to travel drowning in loans? I realized I would perceive it to be too difficult to do and put it off. Then god knows when I would have an opportunity to go. I would live my life always wondering what it would be like to live my dream. This is an experience I've always wanted to have and I am going to fulfil my dream. I was given one life and I do not intend on wasting it.

Random Entry

Hey, I honestly don't know who's reading this and I am really disappointed that I completely forgot about this blog until today. Theres so much that has progressed in my life this year. So many changes came. A lot of positive things, but as always there were negatives. ALL I COULD HAVE BLOGGED but completely forgot about. I guess my biggest mistake from the beginning was expecting there would be tons of people interested in reading about my life, experiences, and overall just me. I now understand that, that is not the case but I am going to continue this blog for myself. This can be a place where I pour my heart about topics I am passionate about! I sound so cheesy whatever. I am going to unleash my creative ideas, and thoughts here and it should't matter who's reading, only that I am heated to share! I would like to make a post later tonight I have an exciting update that probably will be long to explain, but I can't wait to share!

YACHTING IN BOSPOROUS

So during my wonderful stay in Istanbul for the last week of my vacation in Turkey my aunt and her friends decided it would be really fun for the girls to go tour Bosporus on the yacht. We were a total of 10 people, and there was the captain. We decided it would be best to go stop right below the bridge and take a dip just for the sake of it, and we stopped at a couple more places before we stopped for a late lunch/ early dinner at the best seafood restaurant in Bosporus.. 

Unfortunately I didn't take my camera on the land since it was just lunch so I can't show you the platters. I don't know if its like that where you live but in Turkey when people go to restaurants they order a bunch of platters for the whole table so everyone gets a bit of everything! Anyways we left with spending $700 for seafood, and sides! Like I said its really expensive in Bosporus however the conversations, and small talk discussed at that table is irreplaceable!

Anyways after dinner we went for a stroll and gelato and got a few boxes of deserts for the ride home! We all decided it would be best to stop across the bridge so the adults could do their poker game! It was around 4am when we finally arrived home. But the day was unexplainably perfect in every little way possible!

I'm beyond excited to be starting Blogger. I have a tumblr, instagram, facebook, and ask account which I will later try to link on my blog! I've decided to mke use of my cameras and will be starting to capture some of my greatest memoreis and hope to share them here with you!
